Breaking down the most prominent sporting questions with statistics
Stats in Sport is a blog that focuses on analysing sport through the use of statistics. Not only do we evaluate current statistics being used to analyse different sports but we also answer different sporting questions backing up our judgement with statistical evidence.
We post a few different type of blogs. The most common is ‘An Introduction to…’ which provides you with the need to know basics on the covered topic. We also have the ‘Breaking down’ series where we do a thorough statistical analysis, fully delving in on the topic. A more unique series we are also looking to introduce is ‘A Case Study in…’ where we look at a wider sporting problem and look at how that plays a part in many different sports, yet again providing a comprehensive statistical breakdown. Finally ‘The Team of…’ series provides the best possible team of a certain criteria after carefully considering the underlying statistics.
